Merlin U630 Xp Drivers
Ascom 2X Mount Adaptor (Paramount, etc., 6.1) for TheSky X and TheSky 5/6 (external link)This is supplied by Software Bisque and is available from the Downloads section of the Software Bisque site, the file is called Ascom 2X Mount Adaptor Setup.exeInstalls a driver that connects to Software Bisque's and makes it look like a standard ASCOM telescope. This allows ASCOM-based astronomy software to use TheSky (including TPOINT and ProTrack) as a smart telescope controller. For more information see (section 1). It is required for the Paramount mounts, and may be used with TheSky controlling any other of its supported telescope types, or via its built-in outbound ASCOM support, and then using ASCOM telescope drivers. This driver provides support, 100%, and compatibility with TheSky X (10.2.0 or later). It should also work with TheSky6 and TheSky5 but not all functionality will be present. Digital Setting Circles (David Ek, external link)This ASCOM driver allows the use of a variety of commercial and homebrew passive encoder-based digital setting circles systems with any Windows software that supports the ASCOM standard.
This driver works with either alt-az mounts (like a dobsonian) or equatorial mounts. Equatorial mounts do not need to be accurately polar-aligned (although an accurate polar alignment will likely lead to a more satisfying observing experience). The button leads to David's web site for this driver as well as other info on DSCs. Meade Autostar/Audiostar Project (pre-release June 2019)Link to a new 'Meade Generic' driver for the controlled Meade telescopes. This driver project is listed in hopes that the author can get feedback and work out any remaining issues. This driver has been created after discovering that the ' Meade LX200 Classic and Autostar #494, #495, and #497 (combined telescope/focuser, 5.0.4)' driver listed below does not implement enough features to allow the telescope to be properly operated remotely. The driver can be installed alongside any other driver (including the 'universal' one listed below).
See the for details. Please provide feedback to the developer or via the. Link to a driver that recognizes new telescopes (LX850 and LX600), some earlier LX200GPS telescopes, and telescopes that recognize basic Meade Commands (e.g., LX200 Classic, Centurion). Provides position readout, slews, side of pier (where appropriate), and pulse guiding among its basic capabilities. It has passed Conformance Checking for the and the and has been run with a number of other Meade telescopes. While not complete functionality (e.g., missing tracking control, focus control, slew rate selection), this is the first iteration of a driver that is intended provide replacement capabilities for all existing Meade drivers. Please Note: This driver reports that it cannot control tracking (on/off) so it may not be suitable for automation applications.
Meade LX200 Classic and Autostar #494, #495, and #497 (combined telescope/focuser, 5.0.4, May 2013)Installs a driver for the original LX200 ('classic') telescope mounts (including the 16'), as well as Meade telescopes that use the Autostar I (#494, #495 and #497) controllers, such as the ETX and DS series. This driver provides both telescope and focuser interfaces each of which may be used by separate programs. Do not use this with the LX200GPS, LX200R or the RCX400. V5.0.4 corrects installer and driver version mismatches only, no logic in the driver has changed since 2008.
More connection softwareFor those who don't want to download 54MB,You can also try MobiLink Universal Connection Manager from Novatel Wireless. It's on their website, under software for the U530 datacard. It works fine with my U630 datacard. Why such a massive download, for the new vodafone dashboard? How much software is needed for a few initialization strings. I got my card working under linux without any dialer software and extra drivers. Just a few settings, same as installing a generic external modem under windows.
You get 1234 files and 241 new folders with the new software. I can't imagine such a big programming effort for a device that should normally have a very simple interface to you OS.Programmers of this kind of software should optimize rather than impress. Most people still have slow pc's and little memory. The others need maximum resources for their games and applications.Visit and see what you can do with 64KB! Please help!Hi biometrics,I have absolutely no luck with the Dashboard App (it connects for about 5 minutes then disconnects), so I've downloaded your app out of pure desperation. I couldn't even use the Dashboard connection to download your app (it disconnects halfway through the download); I had to do it via my Telkom dialup account. And now I can't even get the Vodafone 3G Dialer app to connect. It shows 'Connecting.' For about 15 seconds.

Then it changes to 'Connected to 3G Preferred connection' for another 15 seconds. It alternates between these two states al the time. During this time the LED on the datacard flashes red.My setup is as follows:Dashboard: Vodafone Mobile Connect (version 5.00 0017)Datacard: Merlin U630Windows XP (SP2)Laptop: Fujitsi Siemens Armada (or something)Centrino 1.4My profile is '3G Preferred connection' but at home I can only get GPRS.Please help! I would love to see a utility that provide the following info:- Tower Name- Signal StrengthI have a Huawei E620. I really hoped that Vodafone would have included this in their latest software.
I have been using VMC Crashboard since Vodacom first launched data services and all Vodafone ever does is make their application look prettier without actually ever introducing any decent and worthwhile features. To show tower info is such a 'simple' feature and something I have been whining about since forever. It would save everybody so much time if you could actually phone 155 and say 'Tower X is down'.
