How To Manually Patch Neverwinter Nights 2
So I'm sort of in a tough spot right now, I have decided to recently re-install my copy of NWN2 in order to play with a friend however, we encounter a issue in that the hard copy is not fully patched as compared to the GOG or Steam versions. I've searched all across the internet for the manual files (since the IGN server no longer provides them meaning auto-update no longer works) and came up short.I've found nothing other than the manual patcher. Something that requires the rtp files in order to patch it. (Which I cannot find).Therefore, I have come here looking for any suggestions or help that can be provided. Would it for example be possible for GOG to provide me with the patch files?
Neverwinter Nights Deluxe Edition Patch
While working on our Storm of Zehir walkthrough, we discovered that Obsidian Entertainment has released the promised v1.23.1765 for Neverwinter Nights 2. In addition to fixing several crashes, the patch 'modifies the SecuROM implementation' and removes the requirement to have the disc in the drive during launch.
