Well good people of Stranraer and afar, people power has worked and WE HAVE DONE IT!!!Yes, a few wee concessions had to be made, but thats the name of the game. Suffice to say that £7.9m will not be spent on a marina. What we need to do now is turn round and pat the person next to you on the back and say WELL DONE!!!We still have a lot of work to do as the 'wish list' is now up for discussion regarding prioritisation, at the council meeting in January, so watch this space - and THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!!!
